This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to effectively use and report data.
Course leaders Sam Riley and Karen Hayllar from the Making Data Count NHS Team have produced 4x 20-minute modules designed to improve and enhance your knowledge, skills and understanding of data analytics and how to make data count. You will gain 5 CPD credits upon completion of this course.
Module 1 explores hearts and minds – why it is important to look at data properly.
Module 2 explores data sets – process limits, statistical process control & interpreting charts.
Module 3 explores the importance of narrative and reporting – how to write about data to prompt meaningful action.
Module 4 explores benchmarking – what does exemplary look like.
To fully enagage with the course, you will need to set aside around 5-8 hours of dedicated learning time and complete associated tasks.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a digital certificate of completion* for you to save, and print at your convenience. You will also receive a certificate of completion and also attain 9 IHSCM High Performance Leadership Competency Framework Points towards Me, Myself and I, Innovation, Workforce, and Operational Leadership.
