This workshop is part of our Empowering Emerging Leaders 2025 Workshop series.

This series is facilitated by Claire Mould FIHSCM, Founder and Director of Curve Strategic, CEO of Heart of England Mencap, Institute of Health and Social Care Management Fellow, and Co-Chair of the IHSCM Women in Leadership Special Interest Group. This is the third installment of this series of workshops. They are ‘informative’, ‘practical’, delivered in a way that is ‘easy to understand and apply the techniques’, and ‘effective’.

This session will:

– detail the significance of style and behaviour in successful negotiations, and define the importance of establishing your own style and behaviour when negotiating.

– focus on how to manage emotions and mitigate conflict through developing an understanding of how to manage your own and others emotions and minimise discord with the aim of achieving better results for both parties.

– outline integrative negotiation skills, exploring the most appropriate approach and negotiation process for individuals to adopt when negotiating across a range of issues and with a range of parties.
