Our Frail Older Care SIG and Dementia SIG recently combined to create a Special Interest Group that covers wider issues and supports innovation in all matters relating to older care. Its very lively and expressive membership is already generating a huge number of projects and events.
The newly formed group last met on 20th May 2021. They decided their first course of action would be to hold two events:
- Understanding Dementia PowerHour. An event for non-dementia specialists to learn about dementia. This event will be held around mid July 2021.
- Hold a Round Table focusing on finding solutions.
The group will next meet on 24th June 2021 13:00-14:00 via Zoom.
