Difficult conversations are an unavoidable part of leadership — especially in health and social care, where emotions run high, pressures are constant, and the stakes are real. Join Tina Hayden, Infection Prevention Matron, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust to discover how to navigate such conversations.

What to expect

This interactive workshop is designed to equip women leaders and managers with the confidence, clarity, and communication tools needed to navigate challenging conversations with compassion and impact. Whether you’re addressing performance concerns, managing conflict, communicating risk, or supporting colleagues through emotionally charged situations, this session will help you strengthen psychological safety, trust, and team cohesion.

Workshop Duration

To ensure everyone has ample time for engagement and participation, we’ve scheduled a generous two-hour slot. While the workshop is designed for 90 minutes of content, the interactive nature and activities may extend the session slightly, offering further opportunities for valuable discussion and collaboration.

This workshop is designed for:

• Women leaders and managers across health and social care

• Those navigating team dynamics, performance issues, or emotionally charged workplace situations
