I’m really happy to share some wonderful news from all of us at PossAbilities CIC.
We’ve just been named the Sunday Times Health and Social Care Big Sector Winner for Best Places to Work 2026. Last year, earning a place on the Best Places to Work list felt like a huge achievement in itself, so becoming the overall sector winner this year is something truly special. What makes it even more meaningful is that the awards are based entirely on feedback from our employees.
One of our core values is Stay Happy. Not as a slogan, but as something we work hard to create every day; for our teams, for the people we support, and for the communities around us. This award feels like a real reflection of that. A culture where people feel valued, supported, and able to bring their whole selves to work.
In a sector that continues to face real pressures, this recognition is a reminder that joy, connection, and purpose still have the power to cut through. It shows what’s possible when we stay rooted in our values and keep people at the heart of everything we do.
You can read a short piece about this award and hear from Professor Donna Hall CBE, Chair of the PossAbilities Board –Â https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/possabilities-named-health-social-care-industry-winner-fizme
We’re incredibly grateful for the partnership, trust, and challenge you bring. Working alongside commissioners and sector leaders who share our commitment to great lives and great support makes achievements like this possible.
Warmest wishes,
Rachel, and everyone at PossAbilities CIC
