Arden University have been running the NHS Leadership Academy Mary Seacole and Rosalind Franklin awards as part of their apprenticeship programmes for the past few years; they are now offering them as standalone programmes and welcome applications from suitable candidates.Â
The Mary Seacole programme is designed for first time leaders in healthcare. It’s for those who are in a ‘formal’ position of leadership with responsibilities for people and services and will support you to gain knowledge and skills in leadership fundamentals, leading for improvement and management skills.
The Rosalind Franklin programme supports those who are looking to develop the skills required to excel in senior management roles across the sector. Covering a range of topics, the programme has been designed to help individuals provide better care, improve patient, health, and service outcomes, and promote efficient practices. Helping learners gain all the skills needed to successfully lead large and complex programmes, departments, services, or systems of care.
